Search Continues for Killers of Russett Resident Gregory Sears

The 36-year-old was gunned down outside of his home one year ago.

One year after 36-year-old Russett resident Gregory Sears was gunned down outside of his home, authorities are continuing their search for his killers, WJZ reports.

Sears—who lived in the 8000 block of Ians Alley—was shot in his driveway after being approached by two males in the early morning hours of Jan. 6, 2012, according to Anne Arundel County police.

He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he died.

The incident, which marked the first murder in the Russett community in more than 10 years, left many in the area stunned.
