Suspected Driver in Beltway Crash Arrested

Kevon Darnell Neal turned himself into police on Friday

 

The driver involved in a crash that led to the death of a Prince George's County police officer turned himself into police later Thursday night.

Kevon Darnell Neal, 23, was arrested Friday and charged in an attempted theft in Laurel.

Neal, of the 3400 block of Gennene Lane in Fort Washington, was driving the vehicle Off. Adrian Morris was pursuing when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed near Beltsville on I-95. Morris died later at Prince George's Hospital Center.

The other suspect, Kenneth Clark Mitchell 24, of the 5300 block of Clay Terrace, NE, Washington, DC, was arrested Wednesday.
