Thieves Busted After Shoplifting at Laurel Mall

Laurel Police Blotter.

Laurel Police kept busy during the first few weeks of March.  Several would-be shoplifters were snatched after stealing items from Macy's, Burlington Coat Factory and Best Buy.  Here's a look at the Laurel Police blotter.

900 Block Fairlawn Avenue                          

Wallet stolen from the victim then suspect used the victim’s credit card and made purchases at Chuck E. Cheese Restaurant and Giant Food in Laurel Shopping Center.

14100 Block Baltimore Avenue                    

DVD stolen from Best Buy at Laurel Lakes, the suspect a 38-year-old Maryland City man was arrested outside the store and charged by Laurel Police.

Four tires and wheels stolen off a parked car.

 03/07/11           

14800 Block Baltimore Avenue                    

Shirts and jacket stolen from Macy’s Department Store. The suspect a 36-year -old Lanham man was arrested by Laurel Police as he walked out of the store and the property taken was recovered.

Clothing stolen from Burlington Coat Factory and Macy’s Department Store by a 45-year-old Stafford, Virginia man who was arrested by Laurel Police as he attempted to leave in a vehicle. All property recovered and the defendant issued a criminal citation.

Garmin GPS unit stolen from a parked SUV truck.

Ten Fire Plug covers stolen from the area of the 7400 block Van Dusen Road and Park Center Drive.
