Thieves Steal Shoes, Medication in Strong Arm Robbery

The suspects punched and kicked the victim before stealing his belongings.

A man was beaten and robbed of his shoes and medication in the early Saturday morning on S. Bruce Street in Laurel, according to Anne Arundel County police.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, told police he was walking on S. Bruce Street near Gail Street when he was approached by two other men. 

One of the suspects punched the victim and knocked him to the ground. Once on the ground, the second suspect began kicking the victim, police said. 

The suspects then took the victim’s medication and shoes and fled on S. Bruce Street on foot, towards, S. Paula Street, according to the victim.

Police searched the area and were unable to find the suspects. The victim refused medical attention, police said.
