Man Critically Injured in Crash on B-W Parkway in Laurel
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Update, 6:27 p.m.: One man has been transported in critical condition to a local hospital after his car crashed on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, in between Route 197 and Powder Mill Road, county fire spokesman Mark Brady said.
Although it was initially reported as a possible fatal accident, the man was safely extracted from the vehicle, Brady tweeted.
Investigators are on scene determining the cause of the accident.

Original Post, 4:03 p.m.: Prince George's County firefighters and paramedics are on scene of a serious crash off Laurel-Bowie Road in South Laurel, according to fire department spokesman Mark Brady.
It may be a fatal accident, Brady reported.
