Two Ejected From Vehicle in South Laurel Accident

Both occupants were injured, one of them critically, police said.

Two people were injured when they were ejected from a car Wednesday night in South Laurel, authorities said.

The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on MD-197 near Montpelier Drive.

Both victims were transported to a hospital, one with critical injuries, according to Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady.

The scene of the accident was closed to traffic for several hours as Prince George's County Police conducted an investigation.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
