Two Carjack Pizza Delivery Man at Gunpoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A pizza delivery man's car was stolen after two males threatened him at gunpoint in Pikesville.

At about 12:08 a.m. Nov. 22, the robbers used a black, semi-automatic handgun to threaten the 32-year-old who was delivering pizza in the 400 block of Upland Road, according to a police report.

They told the driver, a resident of Windsor Mill, to get out of his 1997 Acura, then they stole his cell phone and money and told him to start walking.

One of the robbers drove away in his Acura, and another drove another vehicle. Both drove toward Milford Mill Road, the report states.

One of the suspects is described as a 6-foot man with thin build. He wore a green jacket, blue jeans and a large green belt, the report states. The second was armed with the gun.

Here we go with The Patch being disturbingly PC in their reporting. You feel it necessary to give the color of the gun but not the perpetrators? As if it is not important? If a rabid dog was running around biting people would you leave out the breed and color of the dog?

The Patch doesn't deliver responsible reporting. They don't seem to value accuracy or being helpful. They always favor the criminals by helping them to not get caught. It seems that their motto is 'the fewer important details the better'. I find that reading the 'news' here is largely useless.

I agree that The Patch can do better and make their paper worthwhile. I suggested you check out other similar sites such as Myrtle Beach's online free paper to get some ideas for presenting news.

Thanks for the description of the perps. I am now prepared to clutch my purse tighter when any 6 ft. skinny male gets near me. Patch is just trying to keep us safe. I saw 10 different people with those exact features this morning on my way to work and I crossed the street to avoid them. Thanks for helping me profile again. I'm honing my profiling skills with all these detailed descriptions provided me.
