UPDATE: South Laurel Homicide Suspect Surrenders

Police arrest and charge Virginia man with murder of a 52-year-old Laurel resident.

Prince George's County Police have arrested and charged a man with the murder of 52-year old man in South Laurel yesterday.

Jack Sherman Rosenberg of Warrenton, Va., turned himself into police yesterday and was charged with first degree murder for the shooting death of Albert Herzog, 52, of the 10100 block of Bignonia Drive.

According to police, the happened around 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Herzog's residence. Police responded to reports of a shooting, and upon arriving police found Herzog suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.

According to police, Rosenberg and Herzog were acquaintances and believe an argument between the two led to the shooting.
