  1. Laurel police continue to search for a man who attempted to rob a BB&T Bank on Main Street Monday morning around 9:30 a.m. According to police, the man entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money but was unable to collect and fled the scene.
  2. Does Mayor Craig Moe have a bone to pick with Baltimore Gas and Electric after its performance during Hurricane Irene? During last night's council meeting, Moe stated his dissatisfaction with power outages in the city.  "I was not real happy with their performance," he said. "There was a lack of communication in my view. ... They should have been better prepared."
  3. Laurel Elementary will be the official site of the City of Laurel's Day of Play happening this Thursday evening.
