Election Day In Laurel

It's time to cast your ballot for the Laurel General Election. Here is a quick list of things you need to know.

Election Day is here in the City of Laurel. Here are a few things you need to know before casting your ballot at the poll.

  • General Election is Nov. 1 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters in Ward 1 can cast ballots at the . Voters in Ward 2 can vote at the . Click here to see which ward you are in.
  • Electric ballots will be used at the polling stations.
  • Election counts will be posted every few hours at both polling stations. Laurel Patch will be posting information as it becomes available.
  • The only contested elections will be for Mayor and at-large council seat. is facing and . Council President is facing challenger 
  • Election results will be counted at the Laurel Municipal Center with the results announced no later than 9 p.m. Those wishing to be at the center for the announcement need to be there no later than 8 p.m., front doors will be sealed.
