Five Laurel Officials Named to Maryland Municipal League Committees
Three council members and two city employees were appointed.

Mayor Craig A. Moe is proud to announce the following appointments made by Carl Anderton, Jr., President of the Maryland Municipal League:
- Council Member Michael R. Leszcz, Convention Planning Committee
- Council President Frederick Smalls, Legislative Committee
- Council Member H. Edward Ricks, Hometown Emergency Preparedness Committee
- Lou Ann Crook, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Legislative Committee
- Emergency Services Director, Martin Flemion, Hometown Emergency Preparedness Committee
Mayor Moe, Past President of MML, is extremely pleased to have such excellent City representation on these Committees. He stated, “The City’s involvement with the Maryland Municipal League and its Committees has proved to be extremely beneficial to the City for many years. I am very happy to see our participation continue.”
