Laurel Area National Night Out Events

As National Night Out is set to start in just a few hours, here is a quick run down of community events in the Laurel area.

Anne Arundel County

Arundel Village Park-- located at 705 Cross Street in Brooklyn Park. Activities are scheduled from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with children’s activities and Police and Fire Department demonstrations planned.

Crofton Library Parking Lot located at 1681 Riedel Road.

Activities are scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with children’s activities and Police and Fire Demonstrations planned. A K-9 will also be present.

Howard County

North Laurel residents can stop by the North Laurel Community Center starting at 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a Night Out event sponsored by the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks and the Howard County Police.

Prince George’s County

Prince George’s County residents near Beltsville can hang with county police at he district station at 4321 Sellman Road in Beltsville.

National Night Out, which occurs across small towns nationwide, is a way to help local residents meet one another and their local law enforcement in order to create a stronger community bond.

City of Laurel

Granville Gude Park from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Laurel’s event will feature demonstrations from the police department, the fire department and the rescue squad, as well as activities for children.
