Nominations Sought for 2012 L.O.V.E. Awards

The annual distinction honors Prince George's County residents making a difference in their communities.

The Prince George’s Harlem Remembrance Foundation is looking for nominees for this year’s L.O.V.E. Awards. The awards will honor local community contributors during the Prince George’s County Harlem Renaissance Festival being held this spring.

“In addition to the festival activities, we take time to recognize individuals and organizations in the areas of service to our community,” according to a school system press release.

The theme of this year’s festival is “Our History and Experiences…What Have We Learned?”
