Pr. George's County Recruiting Election Judges

The county is looking for people to help with the presidential election this November.

 

Residents and registered voters with an interest in politics can serve as an election judge for this November's presidential election.

The Prince George's County Board of Elections is looking primarily for people who are registered to vote as Republican or Unaffiliated.

To qualify to be an election judge, you must be available to work the polling places all day on Nov. 6, 2012. Candidates must be registered to vote in Maryland and must be able to speak, read and write in English. They also cannot be a candidate for either a public or party office.

Election judges cannot be a campaign manager for any candidate or serve as a treasurer for any campaign financial entity. Judges will be paid for their time and receive training.
