Kicks for a Cause

Carnival games, food and kickball will be featured at Side by Side's 2nd annual "Kicks for a Cause" on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCullough Field, Eighth and Montgomery streets in Laurel. Side by Side is a nonprofit organization that works to support local Prince George's County elementary schools. "Kicks for a Cause" is highlighted by a fundraising kickball tournament that will include teams from a number of local schools, as well as churches, the Laurel Fraternal Order of Police, Laurel Historical Society and other organizations. Children's carnival games and food from Chick Fil-A and the Double Dipper ice cream parlor will also add to the fun.
