Online Registration for Laurel Little League Fall Baseball and Softball

Online registration is now available for Laurel Little League's fall baseball and softball programs.  Fall ball is an instructional program that provides our kids an opportunity to play baseball and softball in an organized fashion during the fall season.  The goal is to provide a fun experience for the players, help them develop and refine their baseball/softball skills, and encourage their enjoyment of the game.  We only practice once a week (on Fridays) and play games on Sunday afternoon.

The divisions of play are as follows:

Baseball (league age is age on 4/30/2011):
-------------------------------------------
Tee Ball (league age 4-5)
Coach Pitch Baseball (league age 5-7)
Kid Pitch Baseball  (league age 8-11)

Softball (league age is age on 12/31/2010):
--------------------------------------------
Minor League Kid Pitch Softball (league age 7-10)
Major League Kid Pitch Softball (league age 9-12)

Players of ALL abilities are encouraged to play.  We evaluate the players and have a draft to ensure balanced teams.

The season will start on September 11th and runs through November 6th  (weather permitting).  We will practice as a group our first two meetings (9/11 and 9/16) and then form teams.  The first game is on September 18th.  All games/practices are in Laurel.

The registration fee is only $20 and covers the cost of the baseballs/softballs, equipment and insurance.  Each player will receive a Laurel Little League Fall Ball t-shirt.  Players will need to provide their own baseball/softball glove and shorts/pants.  Cleats are not required but recommended.

Online registration is available at the home page at http://www.laurellittleleague.com.  If you can not register online please contact Pete Ruiz at ruizp@pmkinc.com.

We are of course always looking for more volunteer coaches and umpires!   Without coaches and umpires we can't run the Fall season!
