The third loss for Pallotti Prep in the first 10 games was to Our Lady of Good Counsel, a school in Montgomery County that is among the top teams in the country.

“We have beaten some good teams,” Pratt told Patch on Tuesday. “We are eighth in The Baltimore Sun poll and 10th in Digital Sports.”

The Panthers are led by 6-foot-1 senior Tiffany Padgett, who committed to Division I Loyola of Baltimore in November.

In a win over Seton Keough, Pratt said that Padgett had 14 points, 19 rebounds, 11 blocks and eight steals. “She really dominated that game,” Pratt said.

Padgett is averaging 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 2.5 assists in the first 10 games. She had 17 points on Sunday against Elizabeth Seton.

Other top players for the Panthers are seniors Brittney Davis and Natalie Harrison, who had nine points on Sunday at Bullis.

Davis had 16 points in the semifinals of the Bullis tourney against the host school. She has attracted attention from Shippensburg and Marymount University, according to Pratt.

Harrison and Davis are averaging about nine points a game; Frostburg State has shown interest in Harrison.

Pallotti Prep is 3-0 in the A division of the MIAA. The Panthers return to action with games on Dec. 28-29 at a holiday tournament at South Hagerstown High in western Maryland.

Ekedigwe, meanwhile, has come off the bench in 10 games for Seton Hall and has averaged 9.6 minutes and 1.0 points per contest.
