Regional Cooling Center Locations

The following is a list of cooling center locations for Prince George's County, Anne Arundel County, and the City of Laurel.

Anne Arundel County (west)

• O’Malley Senior Center, 1275 Odenton Road, Odenton—8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday only.
• Anne Arundel County Police Western District Community Meeting Room, 8273 Telegraph Road, Odenton—7 a.m to 7 a.m. (24 hours) Friday through Monday.

Prince George’s County

Cooling Centers open for the general public at the following locations and hours: from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

•   Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center, 6120 Sargent Road, Chillum 

• Suitland Community Center, 5600 Regency Lane, Forestville, MD 20747
• Oakcrest Community Center, 1300 Capitol Heights Boulevard, Capitol Heights
• Fairland Sports and Aquatics Center, 13820 and 13950 Old Gunpowder Road, Laurel
•  Palmer Park Community Center, 7720 Barlowe Road, Landover

The City of Laurel will extend its cooling center hours to 9 p.m. Municipal pools will close at 8 p.m.

Hours at city pools also have been extended at the Greenview Drive Pool and Municipal Pool, which are open until 8:00 p.m.
