The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal organization that dates all the way back to 1850. The organization is open to both men and women, as long as they meet certain requirements. The organization believes in spirituality and character-building activities, but is not religiously affiliated. The local chapter meets once a month in the building at the corner of Fair and Washington Streets in Savage.
