Located in the Carding building of historic Savage Mill, SJG Art Studio & Gallery is a private studio owned by Ms. Sylvia James George. George provides commissioned portraits and paintings made with oils, pastels, charcoal, or pen and ink. Her studio has been open for 20 years at the Mill, and her paintings are spread all over the world, including Belgium, England and Japan. In addition to creating new pieces of art for patrons, she is also experienced in the restoration and conservation of oil paintings.
