Two armed men robbed the restaurant Thursday night.
Anne Arundel County Police are searching for two men in the armed robbery of a Popeye’s last night in Maryland City. According to police, the robbery happened shortly before midnight along the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road. Police responded to calls of a robbery, and were told by an employee that two armed men entered the business and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing. Several officers along with a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. Two men rob Cork and Bottle store this morning.
The Laurel Police Department is looking for two men believed to be responsible for an armed robbery of a Cork and Bottle liquor store Friday morning. According to police, the incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, along the 500 block of Main Street. Police said two suspects entered the store armed with hanguns and ordered employees and customers to the floor before obtaining money and fleeing in a light-colored sedan. Police seek help in Seat Pleasant Area robbery
Prince George’s County Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man responsible for a gas station robbery in the Seat Pleasant area during the weekend. The robbery occurred July 29 at a Shell Gas Station along the 6300 block of Central Avenue, according to police. They said the suspect entered the station requesting to exchange an item he purchased. When the cashier was unable to make the exchange, the man became irate and kicked in the door to the cashier’s room. Once inside, police said the man assaulted the cashier while demanding a replacement for his item. He then took property from the store and fled the scene. Two men rob store at gunpoint.
Laurel Police are continuing to search for two men wanted in the armed, daylight robbery of a liquor store last week. Laurel Park Liquors on the 13600 block of Baltimore Avenue was robbed Friday morning by two men who walked into the store posing as customers. Police said one of the men locked the front door and pointed a handgun at store employees. The robbers forced the employees to the back of the store while demanding that one worker remove all of the cash from the registers, according to police. After taking the money the subjects fled the scene. Laurel Police are asking that anyone with information contact them at: 301-498-0092.

Drop them off this Saturday, April 28, during the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Anyone with unused or expired prescription medications can bring their drugs to any of the dozens of drop off locations for safe and proper disposal. Drop off sites are being coordinated on the ground by local law enforcement. This weekend’s event is the fourth Drug Take-Back Day conducted by the DEA. The motorcycle was traveling along Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Laurel.
A weekend accident along the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Laurel, has left a motorcyclist in critical condition, according to U.S. Park Police. The incident occurred Saturday along the southbound lanes of the parkway, near the 197 exit. The operator was transported to a local hospital. A spokesman for Park Police said he could not provide further details on the accident other than that the injured person was in critical condition as of today.
