Tuesday, April 30 DRUG ARREST, 14900-BLK Baltimore Avenue, 5:15 p.m.: An Officer made a traffic stop and discovered that the driver had marijuana in her possession. The 43-year-old woman was arrested. ASSAULT ARREST, 300-BLK Domer Avenue, 9:05 p.m.: A citizen reported several juveniles hanging outside waiting to assault another juvenile. The following is a rundown of reported crimes and police responses in the City of Laurel from Feb. 11-15, 2013. Incident details are provided by Laurel Police Department. MONDAY, FEB. 11 Calls for Service: 167 ALCOHOL VIOLATION, 100-blk Bowie Rd, 1:26 PM: Officers observed A 58-year-old suspect with an open container of alcohol in public. The suspect was arrested. DRUG ARREST, 14100-blk Baltimore Ave, 6:58 PM: Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. Marijuana was recovered and the 34-year-old driver was arrested. SUNDAY, FEB. 3 Calls for Service: 110 SHOPLIFTER ARREST, 300-BLK Domer Avenue, 1:27 p.m.: A 45-year-old suspect was arrested for shoplifting at the CVS. MONDAY, FEB. 4 Calls for Service: 142 DOMESTIC ASSAULT, 500-BLK Ninth Street, 7:16 p.m.: A pregnant victim called to report being struck in the face by her boyfriend. The victim reported being punched in the face several times. Officers arrived and found the suspect had fled the scene, but police are familiar with the suspect and the investigation is ongoing. Sunday, January 9 At 11:57 p.m., a witness observed an unknown suspect running from an AT&T store on the 6400 block of Dobbin Center Way. Police officers arrived and found the suspect had attempted to gain entry by breaking a front glass door, but was unsuccessful. The suspect is described as a male with light complexion, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a thin build and wearing all black clothing including a ski mask and gloves. Friday, January 7 At 5:59 a.m., an unknown suspect stole an energy bar from Liberty Gas Station, on the 6400 block of Dobbin Road, and fled on foot.
