From the City of Laurel: Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce the “Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program” will continue for the summer of 2013. Mayor Moe noted that this program won the 2011 Maryland Municipal League Achievement Award, an honor for which he is very proud. Mayor Moe thanked the Laurel City Council for its support of the continuation of this program. The purpose of this program is to provide meaningful employment opportunities for Laurel youth during the summer months. The Mayor’s Summer Jobs Program is open to Laurel youth who are City residents between the ages of 14 and 16 on the first day of the program.
