'Ray Lewis' Makes Heavenly Promise During SNL Appearance
Baltimore Ravens linebacker 'Ray Lewis' said he would be heading to a celestial place if the Ravens win the Super Bowl.
It wasn't really Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis appearing on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" over the weekend, but Keenan Thompson stood in effectively. Thompson played the effusive linebacker to perfection. He brought the energy, the emotion and of course, the face paint. Watch his exchange with SNL's Seth Meyers above. The best lines: Meyers: A lot of us saw you cry last week during the National Anthem. Thompson: It's just I've never heard that song before. Meyers: You've been playing football your whole life? Thompson: I know, but, I always wear ear plugs before games to block out the sound of my own screams.
