Armed Robberies in Laurel, Kay's Diner Burglarized: Howard County Crime Reports

Laurel Robbery Police say on Feb. 24 at about 3 a.m., a man displaying a weapon approached two people on the 9600 block of Canterbury Riding. The man demanded their wallets, according to police, and the two victims complied. The burglar checked their wallets, found no money, then threw the wallets to the ground and fled toward Whiskey Bottom Road, according to police. The robber is described as a white male, 5-foot-7-to-5-foot-10 inches tall, weighing about 155 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and had a revolver-styled handgun. That same day, someone called police at about 3:30 a.m. and said he had been robbed on the 9000 block of Canterbury Riding by someone wearing a ski mask and a gray hooded sweatshirt. On …
