SPEAK OUT: Should Shanahan Have Pulled RGIII?
Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III's knee gave way in Sunday's playoff game, raising questions about the decision to keep him in.
It's the talk of the Washington water cooler this morning: should RGIII have stayed in? For those who missed Sunday's wild card matchup at FedEx Field between the Washington Redskins and the Seattle Seahawks, suffice it to say that it was not a happy affair for the Burgundy and Gold. After building up a 14-0 lead against the red hot Seahawks, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III appeared to aggravate a lingering right knee injury incurred against the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 9. Though the signal-caller showed signs of pain and limited mobility, Griffin reportedly told Coach Mike Shanahan he was still up to the task. Yes, Coach S should have pulled RGIII at half-time. Cousins already proved he coulds step in and win games. That would have been their best chance to win.   more ›
