Police Nab Columbia Catburglar, Two Break-ins at Auto Facilities: Police Roundup

Columbia Police arrest suspected catburglar Police responded to a residence near the 9400 block of Clocktower Lane after a resident reported a breaking and entering in progress. The resident reported that she could hear her dog growling and noise coming from downstairs around 3 a.m. on Nov. 7. Police found that the suspect entered through an unlocked front door and later exited through a side sliding door. As police patrolled the area, one officer spotted a man running and ordered the man to stop, but he ran into the woods. Nearby where the man was spotted, officers found several items stolen from the residence underneath a parked car and in a bush.
