If you still haven't gotten the celebration out of your system after Sunday night's Super Bowl victory by the Baltimore Ravens, you might be interested to know that the team is holding a victory parade downtown. Around 10:45 a.m. Feb. 5, members of the Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens will parade from Baltimore's City Hall (100 N. Holliday St.) to M&T Bank Stadium, according to a post on the Ravens' website. To check out the parade route, see the interactive map above. A little late this year, the City of Laurel celebrates Independence Day.
The City of Laurel kicked off its Fourth of July celebration this weekend with its annual parade and fireworks show. Due to the Fourth falling on a weekday last week, city officials moved their celebration to the weekend. Along with the parade, the celebration was also dedicated to Lance Cpl. Eugene C. "Gene" Mills III , 21, a marine from Laurel who was killed last month while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
