Columbia Commercial Robbery Police say two men entered the Exxon on the 8200 block of Snowden River Parkway at about 3 a.m. on Jan. 4, one threw hot coffee at the clerk’s face while the other went behind the counter and stole money from the register. The clerk told police that one of the men had a shiny object in his hand. Both men left on foot. Police describe the suspects as two black men, one wearing a puffy blue coat and black pants, the other wearing a mask, a black jacket and black pants. Columbia Residential Burglary - Evening Wind Court A person or persons gained entry to a residence near the 10700 block of Evening Wind Court through a front window, ransacked a master bedroom and reportedly stole two white gold diamond rings sometime between Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. Home Invasion - Eastwind Way Three men, one armed with a handgun, barged into a residence near the 10500 block of Eastwind Way on Dec. 19 around 10 p.m. and held two of the residents inside their family room while one of the men ransacked the bedroom. Columbia Armed Robbery – Hayshed Lane Three unknown suspects armed with a handgun reportedly struck a male victim and stole an iPod near the 8800 block of Hayshed Lane on Nov. 30 at approximately 5 p.m. Robbery – Cloudleap Court A male victim was allegedly assaulted by two suspects who demanded money near the 8700 block of Cloudleap CT around 3:49 p.m. on Dec. 2. The victim resisted the two male suspects and prevented them from taking anything. One suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 30-35 years old, 5’8”, with black hair and wearing a hoodie and blue jeans. No description of the second suspect was given. Columbia: A victim told police that he was robbed at gunpoint at The Mall in Columbia on Nov. 2, just before 9 p.m.. According to the victim, three men approached him in the parking lot of the AMC Theater and struck up a conversation, then demanded money. According to the victim, one of the suspects showed a handgun. The victim told police that he gave one of the men his wallet, and then they got in a black Volkswagen and drove away. The victim got in his car, called 911, and followed them to Green Mountain Circle, according to police. Officers stopped the suspects and arrested three Columbia men, ages 18, 18 and 19.
