The parents of Josephine Grace Gay, 7, remembered their daughter as a smiling, affectionate little girl who had an indomitable spirit and loved hugs, in a statement released Thursday. Howard County schools are focusing on safety and support measures in the wake of the deadly school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. The bus driver administered first aid to a 1 year old NOT belted in the car seat while the mother made calls on her cell phone? Anyone else have a problem with this? WHY wasn't the baby secured in the car seat, isn't it the law? Why wasn't the grandfather trying to shake some common sense into the mother instead of creating a scene in front of children?
