Alcohol May Have Been Factor in Head-on Collision in Savage
Two drivers transported to shock trauma after weekend collision on Route 32 in Savage.
Two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on collision Saturday night in the eastbound lane of Route 32. A 2004 Toyota Scion was heading the wrong way on Route 32 west of Route 1 in Savage when it collided with a 1999 Toyota Camry. Both drivers were transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The driver of the Scion, Jose I. Romero, 34, of Baltimore, was listed in serious but stable condition at shock trauma. The 27-year-old driver of the Camry, Regan A. Murphy, of New York City, is also in serious but stable condition, said police. Neither car had passengers, according to police.
