Teenager Critical After Collision Outside Ellicott City High School
An 18-year-old was taken to Shock Trauma and four other teenagers to Howard County General Hospital.
An 18-year-old Ellicott City student is in critical condition after a two-vehicle collision Thursday near Mt. Hebron High School, according to Howard County police. Four other students were also injured in the collision, police said in a statement. Police say Jeffrey Conner Sinclair, 18, was driving a Honda Civic at about 2:20 p.m. The preliminary investigation suggests Sinclair pulled out of a Mt. Hebron parking lot directly into the path of a Mack Truck. According to police, also in the Civic were: Justyn Richard Alexander, 17, front seat; Michael Dennis Brooks, 15; Elisha Shannon Brown, 17; and Urek Ali Bradshaw, 16.
