Daytime Door Kick-in Burglaries Cease; Investigation Continues

No new break-ins are believed to be related since police issued a warning last week.

  The investigation into a string of brazen daytime door kick-in burglaries in Howard County continues after police warned residents to be vigilant last week. Howard County Police spokesperson Sherry Llewellyn wrote in an email that police have not apprehended a suspect and are unable to provide a suspect’s description at this time. She said the investigation is active. Since police released information related to the burglaries on Sept. 27, there hasn’t been a burglary with a similar style in Howard County, according to Llewellyn. The 10 break-ins believed to be connected happened over the course of three days from Sept. 24 – 26.
