East Columbia Businesses Burglarized, Windows Shattered

Police report an unknown suspect or suspects shattered the front glass windows of 11 different restaurants and businesses overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday.

  Howard County police are looking for a suspect or group of suspects that shattered front glass windows and stole cash from 11 different businesses in east Columbia between the overnight hours of May 29 and 30. Police believe the incidents are related because of the similarity of the burglaries. The following locations were struck: 6400 block of Dobbin Center Way:  9400 block of Snowden River Parkway:  6900 block of Oakland Mills Road:  6400 block of Dobbin Road:  Detectives are investigating the incidents. Similar robberies occurred on May 22 along Baltimore National Pike in Ellicott City. Four businesses were robbed and rocks were used to smash front glass windows and doors between 1:20 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. in those incidents. "Right now…
