Three Robbed at Gunpoint in Maryland City

The incident comes one day after a pizza delivery man was robbed less than half a mile away.

Authorities are searching for two men who reportedly robbed a group of people at gunpoint Thursday night in Maryland City.

According to Anne Arundel County police, officers were called to the 200 block of Federalsburg South around 9:21 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery involving three victims.

The victims told police they'd been walking along the road when they were approached from behind by two males holding handguns. The suspects took several valuables from the victims and fled toward the Tall Oaks Apartment Complex, police said.

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate any suspects.

One suspect was described as a black male, 16-19 years old, who was wearing a black t-shirt, dark green shorts, and a white shirt on his head at the time.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 16-19 years old, who was wearing dark clothing and a dark shirt on his head.

The incident follows a similar episode on Wednesday less than half a mile away, in which a pizza delivery man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint on Chiswell Road by a group of five males.
